Dennis was always so kind to me when we grew up together. One day we were out playing basketball in my backyard, we lived next door to Dennis. He took me over to his house and told his dad, Rocco to look at my sneakers. It was about 2 days before school started. The next day Rocco got me and took me down to his Shoe store. and gave me a brand new pair of Converse sneakers, the nicest ones I ever had as a kid. There was no charge! Warmed my heart. Also, Dennis walked across town with me to Ernie Davis Jr. High everyday. At lunch time, he would find me and say to me, you don't wanna eat that cafeteria food, and so he would buy me lunch at the Dog n Burger next to the school. That was a real treat to me. He was so kind to me. He would do this almost every week. He always bought, seemed like I never had any money.. I will Never forget him for being so kind. May God Bless Dennis!
