Obituary of Julie Cleary Feldmann

Age 73, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Julie was born in Elmira. She was predeceased by her mother Alice McCarthy Whitford and Alice's husband Tom; William Feldmann, who predeceased her in 2007; grandson William J. Feldmann III; uncles and aunts, Jim and Ann Noonan, Timothy "Harp" and Marion McCarthy, Simon "Cy" and Dorothy McCarthy, Daniel McCarthy, James and Ann Noonan; and cousin Mary Noonan Vater. Julie is survived by daughter Jackie A. Feldmann of Elmira with son Mario; son William J. Feldmann, Jr. of Harrisburg NC with daughter Molly; former daughter-in-law Audrey Feldmann; and sister-in-law of Peg Sheehan of Horseheads. She is also survived by her cousins whom Julie thought of like siblings, Tim (Patricia) Noonan, John (Terry) Noonan, Joe (Linda) Noonan, Ann Noonan McLaughlin, Virginia (Jim) Tortorici, John (Pat) McCarthy and Tim McCarthy. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Julie had spent most of her working career as a real estate agent with Ambrose and Shoemaker. She loved being near water no matter if it was an ocean, a lake or a pool. She enjoyed the company of her dogs, Ernie and Buddy. Julie truly loved her family and cherished the time she spent helping raise her grandson Mario. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St. Elmira, on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, 10:00 a.m., Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery. The Feldmann family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Mary Helen Rominger, Art, Mavin and Chelsea Ambrose, Bridget Steed, Bernadette Drew and A.J. Fratarcangelo for all of their longtime love and support to the Feldmann family. Also a special thank you to the nurses at AOMC – ICU for their special care.
