So sorry to learn of Flossie’s passing. I came across it as I was searching for my wife Nancy’s obituary. She
passed on 12/21 after a long bout with dimentia.
We were fortunate to have our wives as long as we
did. Nancy’s obituary is supposed to be in the Star.
Will be thinking and praying for you as we mourn the loss of the love of our lives. And remembering all the memories from SHS.

I worked with Flossie for many years preparing payroll for the bank. I will always remember her kindness, patience and sense of humor as we scurried to get it in before the deadline. Our training trips to ADP in Syracuse were highlighted by our conversations on the drive and shared confusion with their latest “new” process. RIP Flossie…you will be missed.

To Jerry and all of your family, I worked with Flossie for almost 20 years at Chemung Canal Trust Company. So many great times and laughs including her surprise 50th birthday party at Libs Supper Club, Went to lunch faithfully once a month. Flossie was a wonderful lady! In recents years reconnected with her and Jerry along with other friends at Bernie Murray’s. I will miss you very much my friend. Gordon Shafer

Jerry and daughters, I am so sorry I am not able to be there for the mass/memorial. I will be getting back to Elmira late next week. I have always considered Flossie a dear friend even though miles were between us for many years. You may or might not know I did visit at Bethany. I hope you are comforted knowing she is at peace.

Uncle Jerry, Lisa, Chris, Terri and families- I am sorry for such a tremendous loss. We all loved her so much. She made our childhood so much fun. I will never forget her laugh as long as I live!
