Stephen graduated from Elmira Free Academy in 1971. He had a long-time career as a general contractor. An avid outdoorsman he was a skilled fisherman and hunter who had a great love of nature.
For those lucky enough to know Stephen they knew his tender and sensitive nature hidden behind a tough exterior. With a larger-than-life personality you knew when he was around. A loving father and grandfather, Stephen adored his grandsons. He found great joy when family and friends would gather to enjoy his traditional Italian cuisine, as love was expressed through food. With a “I did it my way” attitude, Stephen brought much laugher, caring and giving to friends and family. He will forever be loved and missed.
