I met Barb for the first time many years ago when she was a patient of Dr Thomas Rodgers and I was a nurse in his office. She was always very kind and seemed quite dignified to me. She told me about raising 13 children which I marveled at! I have the pleasure of knowing some of those children. Rest in Peace until we all meet again. I am one of Aunt Barbara's numerous nieces. She and Uncle Tom were always so welcoming to us 5 Bosek cousins when we visited Elmira. I have often cited Aunt Barbara as an example of a tough woman, surviving 13 pregnancies and childbirths and the raising of those 13 children. She had a great sense of humor, which I guess she needed to survive it all. Her passing marks the end of an era. Rest in peace, Aunt Barbara. Love, Ruth

I am one of Barbara's numerous nieces, the daughter of Uncle Tom's sister Florence. Aunt Barbara and Uncle Tom were always welcoming to us Bosek "urchins" when we visited Elmira. How she put up with us visiting the Walnut Street house (there were 5 of us and at least 6-7 McInerny offspring at that point), I'll never know. Aunt Barbara had a great sense of humor, which I guess she needed to survive. She was a tough woman to go through 13 pregnancies and childbirths and still make it to her late 90's. Her passing is the end of an era. Love and sympathy to all my McInerny cousins. Ruth
