Obituary of Tara L. Pradon
God brought home His angel...
Age 47, of North Tonawanda NY, after a short but extremely courageous battle with cancer, Tara passed away peacefully in Lockport NY on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Tara was born in Elmira and raised in Elmira Heights. She is the daughter of Sandra (Schmidt) and Vance Parker of Horseheads. In addition to her parents Tara is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Martin J. Pradon; son Parker S. Pradon and daughter Sage T. Pradon; sister Jennifer Tremaine with husband Cory of Big Flats; stepbrother Todd Parker with wife Denise of North Carolina; stepsister Joy Russell of Binghamton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her canine companions Miller and Lola.
Tara was a 1993 graduate of Thomas A. Edison High School. She was a lifelong loving care giver and used those gifts in her work for People Inc., a human resource company helping mentally challenged people in the Buffalo area. She loved the 24 years she spent working at People Inc . and was currently a program manager for one of the group homes. Tara was a huge fan of Legos. She enjoyed the time it took to put them together and had a house full of Lego building projects. She especially loved her time spent with Parker and Sage.
Tara touched so many people's lives in her short time here with us. Whether it was helping out someone with kind and compassionate caring, or being an ear to listen to whenever you needed it, heaven received a most glorious and worthy angel. She will continue to provide that love and guidance to all who have cared for her as that is the soul of who she was. Tara could always be counted on to get the dancing started at any social event. Even if you were not a dancer, you can rest assured that you were by the end of the night if you were with Tara on the dance floor. Tara could always be counted on to bring a smile to someone's face and brighten their day with her unconditional love for her family and friends. Between her early life in Elmira Heights growing up, to her adult years in Buffalo, Tara amassed a large group of close friends that were drawn to her infectious optimistic spirit for life and love for all people.
