Obituary of Robert J. Zauner

Age 77, of Horseheads, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Bob was a son of the late John and Ethel (Artig) Zauner. He was also predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Marie (DiNardo) Zauner in December of 2020. Bob is survived by his brother and sister-in-law John and Linda Zauner of Long Island. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Bob was born and raised on Long Island. He came to Elmira where he earned his Master's Degree at Elmira College. It was around that time that he met Marie. Bob was a pharmacist, working at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center for many years and later at the Elmira Psychiatric Center from where he retired. A graveside service will be held for Bob at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Elmira, on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
