John joined Team JSMA Templar Fight Team at his last fight. I got to corner for him, not knowing that it would be his last fight. We had a big 2023 planned. He had been training harder than ever before. He and his girlfriend Lynn would travel 2 plus hours to our dojo to train. He had finally found a gym and a team. Jon had that "rough around the edges" hear of gold. The type that would say "let's do it" for anyone that needed a hand. Our thoughts and prayers for his loved ones.

I have known Jon since 2006 and he was a great and amazing guy. However, he had 2 girlfriend unfortunately, I am not here to run his name down because he was an amazing man, boyfriend, fill-in dad, friend, brother and son. The memories I have of him will always be in my heart and it will be hard to get over him. I have been destroyed with everything coming to light from his passing. I want to let the family know that I'm truly sorry that he is gone. You have raised an amazing man. And that I am forever thankful. Wish I could have shared more time with him. I love you Jon and I will miss you.
