Chris and Keith, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Both your parents were wonderful to all the neighborhood kids. I actually got to talk with your dad a few years back, before he sold his house. I will always remember him fondly. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

A truly genuine & caring man. I remember riding my pony up to see him when I knew he was at his mom & dad's (next door). I'd hang out with him & he always made time for me (even when he was trying to get things done without me bugging him... lolol) Then at end of day, we'd "race" along the flat part at bottom of the old hayfield. Me & my pony in the field & him on the road in his vehicle. He always let me win! Just loved him & Jeri, Chris & Keith. RIP "Mr. Cartwright". I'll never forget you....

So sorry Chris and Keith for your sorrow and sadness. Your Dad was one of the Best! I still remember sitting on Eileen and Tom’s porch and watching Kenny work in his beautiful garden. He certainly had a passion for it, as well as a passion for his family and community. He is not “away” from us, only “ ahead” of us. God Bless the Broken Hearted.

My Dad, Don Shaw, and Kenny were the best of friends and it was a privilege to know him my entire life. Always a smile and a kind word….the world is certainly a lot less brighter now without him in it. Whether zooming up our driveway to pick Dad up for a 4am departure for another infamous fishing trip getaway or having us bring back his ham hocks from a Lancaster trip, I have so many memories of this beloved man. His memorial to my father at his funeral brought an entire room to tears as everyone could feel the love he had for his family and friends. I know that you are back again with your beloved and while that brings us all comfort, we will still miss you here terribly. Keep Dad in line up there for us, dear Hoss. Thank you for being a wonderful part of our lives.

We will all miss Ken Especially the the community he served so well . Hoss and I spent many outings together hunting Whitetails and the tails were undoubtedly much taller than the Antlers we encountered . I enjoyed every hour spent with him . Lord please bless the soul of a man who lived life and enjoyed the people he encountered

Chris, Keith and family,
My heart is heavy, hearing of Kenny's passing. Your dad and mom hold a very special place in my heart, and I know how much they are truly missed. When I started at VASCO, your dad took me under his wing, and he was so patient and helpful. I LOVED working with him, and it was always a treat when Jeri would pop in for a visit. The love those 2 had for one another was heart warming. Please know, you are all in my thoughts, and I feel incredibly Blessed to have know Kenny. He is reunited in your mom's loving arms. May they Rest in Love and Peace.

Chris and Keith we are so very sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a great gentleman. I first met him through my job as buyer at St Joe’s. Our relationship continued with the Hibernians. We will all miss him at the club. Our deepest sympathy to all your family.

Keith and Chris,
I am so saddened to read this news about your dad. I have known all of you for such a long time and always loved it when I ran into you boys or your mom and dad when I came back to Elmira to visit. I have so many memories of you all when I used to babysit you boys and your dad would bring me home afterwards and we would laugh about what you two would try and trick me and do to me. He would always apologize and we would just laugh because it was no big deal. He will surely be missed by everyone that knew him. He did have the best hugs too. It was always a big hug that he gave me whenever I saw him. He is with your mom now and I am sure that he missed her terribly since she has been gone. My thoughts and prayers to you boys and your families. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Thinking of you all.

Ken was such a nice person, a true gentleman. I got to know him through my uncle's business- Vasco. It was always a pleasure to see him, always so kind and caring. Glad he was surrounded by good care and his loving family in his final days.
