Kenny, Curt and Kathy along will all members of Alice's family, I am so very sorry to hear of this great loss. Her smile in this picture tells it all: she was a happy wonderful woman. You were all great neighbors for years on Fairway Ave in Elmira and we had many great times together that will never be forgotten. If I can do anything to help any of you, please let me know. I don't remember ever seeing my Aunt without a smile and even if you did not see her the minute she laughed you knew she was there. I have so many wonderful memories of time spent with Uncle John and Aunt Alice. My first plane ride was with them with Uncle John at the controls and me sitting on Aunt Alice's lap. While I was scared of heights, I felt safe. So many Thanksgivings, chicken barbecues and spaghetti dinners making family memories. Remember going to the Great American and getting cookies from the bakery and how disappointed I would be if she was not working but with my Aunt's big heart she told the other staff that if I came for a cookie to give me one.
Thank you Aunt Alice for giving me so many wonderful memories, teaching me to always smile and laugh, and being such a wonderful role model.
I’m going to miss you for the rest of my life, Mom. Thanks for raising me to be a decent man. See you again someday when our Lord and Savior calls me home.
Alice was one of the nicest and sweetest people I ever knew and was fortunate to have met her and be a part of her life. Our condolences to the entire family.
