I am so saddened to learn of Bill's passing. My condolences to his family. Bill was one of our Dept of Labor stalwarts in Elmira. It was my pleasure to know him and work with him for many years, and to count him as a friend. I can remember the golf outings, the picnics, and the softball matches. We would occasionally see him at our monthly retirees' breakfasts in Binghamton. Always an easy smile, and welcomed addition. RIP, Bill.

Clara and Family,
We were heartbroken to hear of the loss of your beloved Bill.
As others have stated, he was a kind, gentle man who will be missed by those who had the pleasure of his friendship.
One of our happier memories was Bill as an usher in our wedding. We wanted to share this photo from 1987.

There are no words to describe the loss of this dear, sweet, true gentleman. I knew Bill for many years when I worked for the department of labor. I never knew him to be angry,rude or unkind in dealing with the public or with his coworkers. He truly was one of a kind. My love and prayers go out to Clara and the kids.
