Obituary of Virginia Reigh Williams

Virginia R. Williams "Lynne" Elmira: Age 71, passed away at Arnot Ogden Medical Center Wednesday, August 10, 2011, with her loving family by her side. Lynne was born March 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Donald and Virginia (Wilcox) Reigh. She had lived in the Williamsport area with her husband Wayne for 25 years before moving to Elmira in September of 2010 to be with her daughters. Lynne is survived by her daughters, Kimberly A. Lagonegro of Elmira Heights, with son Dustin; Michelle L. "Mindy" Lagonegro of Elmira, with husband Alfred "Larry", and children Dylan and Lydia; sister and brother-in-law, Helen L. and John Paucke of Cameron Mills NY; nephews, Shawn and Jess Paucke of Cameron Mills. While in Williamsport, she was active with the Newberry Lioness Club. She had served as club president and had been awarded the Cub of the Year Award, President's Award, and a Five Year Service Award. Lynne was very artistic and she loved to paint, do plastic canvas and crochet. She had a great love for animals and was given a chihuahua named "Chole" from Pat Besley which brought her great joy. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut Sts., on Monday, August 15, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 7:15 p.m. Those wishing may remember Lynne with a donation to Chemung County SPCA, Route 352, Elmira NY 14903. Lynne's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the Emergency Room and ICU staff of the Arnot Ogden Medical Center for the care they provided.
