We loved Leeland and have so many wonderful memories of times at home in Elmira and in Provincetown, Palm Springs, LA. Such a great sense of humor and his facial expressions were priceless. Our favorite memory is buying kites on the wharf in Provincetown and talking about flowers and his garden and his years in ID. Love you Leeland!

To BJ and the complete McDonald Family, on behalf of all the citizens in Big Flats please except our deepest sympathy. Lee was a big part of this community and making it a great place to live and raise a family. He served his country and his community in many ways, he was a great asset in giving of his time and knowledge. Lee will be missed but never forgotten. Again from the Big Flats Town Board, we want to express our condolences to the McDonald Family.

Lee:
High School would not have been fun without you! You could liven up any
lunch hour or study hall as you brought joy to everyone with malice toward
no one. Whether we were fishing or shooting .22's at the range, there were
memories to be made. Your service to the country in Vietnam speaks for itself
as you risked everything to bring so many wounded to safety. Rest well my friend.

To the loves of his life-B.J. and Sarah. I am glad I had the chance to get to know him again, after the years of living away. He had Granda Mcdonald's green thumb and quick wit kept us amused and on our toes. B.J and Sarah and families - he adored you and loved you dearly - I know because even when you were not around he spoke of you both highly. May the spirit of his love live on in you and his grandchildren and families. Love,, peace and light! Pete ( Stanley) and Dawn Wood Reed
