To my dear friends, It has been a privilege for me to be one of the many who have been “adopted” by Dorothy. Growing up with her in my life has been full of cherished memories, love, compassion, support and fun. I relish our visits, conversations, and, her mentorship. I will always remember the sparkle in her eyes which went along with every message. I hold her dear as I walk the paths we walked, reminisce, and, strive to live as she did with unconditional love and integrity. I will always remember her philosophy of life: "I am fine and dandy". Words which were spoken with a bright smile on her face, a twinkle in her eyes and delight in her voice. I am so very sorry for your deep loss, yet, I am hopeful for her legacy which lives on in each of you.
