I met Alison on the midway of Shermans amusement park in Caroga Lake Ney York in the summer of 1971. We were boyfriend and girlfriend for the summer in a sweet, innocent and awkward way that teenagers so often are. Alison was so special, bright and witty even at that age and the memory of her as she was so long ago has never left me. It is sad for me now to find that she is gone from this world, I'm sure she had a profound influence on everyone that she met throughout her life. My condolances to her family, she was such a beautiful person. -Mike-

I was saddened to learn of Alison's death. A number of years ago Alison worked as a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. That is where I met a caring, young professional woman who cared for her patients and their families as well as her peers. She was kind and compassionate and friendly toward all. Years have passed but I remember her distinctly. May peace come to her and her family. My deepest sympathy. Sister Johanna
