To the family of Lana: Although we didn't personally know Lana, we were touched by her life through our son & daughter-in- law, Eric and Megan Schmidt. They proudly displayed her picture on their refrigerator and often spoke of what a sweet little girl she was. Please know our hearts break for you and your entire family during this tough time. Lana was one of the happiest babies I have ever seen! She was so loved not only by her parents and by her grandparents, Steve and Gloria, but by every person in her extended family - especially by her great Aunts - we so looked forward to seeing a new picture arrive in our email almost daily from Grandma Gloria (Gigi). We will treasure all the pictures and memories we have of Lana. God decided it was her time to become an Angel and I'm sure she is looking down on us and smiling because of the love that was poured on her while she had her time with us on Earth. We love Lana and want her family to know we are here for them in this time of grief. We were blessed to have Lana as part of our family on Earth and please know, she will be forever in our family in our hearts, minds and souls. She will forever be a part of our lives.
